Magnetic Card Readers are used extensively in various industries. These readers are a key component in ATM'S, POS, Swipe, Dip and insert equipment. Reader failures and errors are linked to poor maintenance; contaminants damage reader heads. After several hours of use the reader head can begin to accumulate heavy dirt caused by pollution, oxides, oil and exposure to the elements. Poor maintenance is attributed to over 80% of the reader failures.
Our technically advanced cleaning cards are specifically designed for card readers to allow preventative maintenance of heads without dismantling the drive. Each Cleaning card is conveniently pre-saturated and sealed in a foil to ensure a clean card and the proper amount of solution for each cleaning. They are supported and laminated with a lint free non-abrasive material on both sides, reader head and transport rollers can be cleaned at the same time.
Check readers use a magnetic head to read MICR encoding on the bottom of the check.
They effectively remove the heavy dirt caused by pollution and continuous use.
